Four commits on 6 and 7 August 2026 assembled the first substantial legal-work path. Research began with a structured, versioned intake, then gained durable evidence retrieval, candidate answer generation, and claim extraction with citation parsing.
A Research session belongs to a firm and matter. It records languages, jurisdiction, temporal scope, facts, assumptions, selected documents, source scope, requested depth, and review level. Retrieval returns permission-filtered candidates with exact passages and limitations.
Generation creates a new immutable candidate version rather than replacing source context or implying approval. The next stage splits generated text into reviewable claims and citation-shaped references while support verification remains not run.
Uncommitted work present when the package was prepared continues the sequence with citation-existence checking. It remains in progress and does not yet establish evidentiary support, legal review, or final approval.
