ClinScribe Local began by defining a boundary before it attempted transcription. The first implementation targeted physician-reviewed ophthalmology documentation on iPhone and treated every generated artifact as working material rather than a final record.
The foundation established shared models, application routing, language selection, conservative capability checks, local persistence, and the initial SwiftUI shell. Each consultation received its own Application Support folder for related artifacts.
That local session model became the product's lifecycle. Audio, transcript segments, extracted candidates, drafts, prompts, and audit state could remain together and could be removed through one session deletion path.
The milestone did not establish clinical safety or production privacy. It established the structure needed to test those claims without depending on an account, server, cloud synchronization service, analytics SDK, or external model provider.
