Aligning the Public Identity Around FileAdapt

The public name, product language, metadata, legal pages, and interface were brought together around one practical promise.

The August brand-alignment work standardized the public name FileAdapt across application copy, metadata, legal pages, payment language, documentation, and production checks. It also made the line Make your file work the clearest expression of the product's scope: practical compatibility help rather than a promise to replace the receiving software.

The same change brought Inter into the repository as self-hosted variable font files and added checks for public metadata, canonical URLs, brand references, and font loading. Self-hosting removed a runtime font request and made the visual system reproducible for both the application and its media workflow.

Desktop and mobile review captures document the resulting interface. The repository directory and remote retain the older FileFixer name, so FileAdapt is the current public identity while repository-link publication remains a separate decision.
