The second OnTheMetareverse prototype was authorized as a visual-only implementation. That decision kept missing voice and sound assets from being replaced with synthetic or stock substitutes while allowing the approved page behavior to be experienced and tested in a browser.
Four implementation batches brought the available material from the P0.1 prologue through seven chapters of Part I: Visibility and seventeen chapters of Part II: Witness. The runtime preserves reader decisions, returns them through deterministic callbacks, and carries progress across visits in an isolated local record.
The boundary is part of the implementation. Source material stops before P2.18, so the prototype ends at P2.17 with an explicit notice that this is not story completion. It does not create a substitute ending, final visitor record, or sharing flow.
This milestone is based on the dated roadmap and source manifest rather than Git history because the second-prototype work was still uncommitted at export time.
