On 2 August 2026 the repository froze a broad product and architecture baseline under TMX-DEF-1.0. The definitions clarified the intended system: evidence before assertion, deterministic findings, explicit human disposition, strong tenant separation, and one configurable core for hosted or private operation.
The freeze also separated aspiration from implementation. A twelve-phase roadmap placed engineering foundations, identity, ingestion, customs data, rules, reconciliation, delivery modes, release qualification, and transfer evidence in an explicit sequence.
That structure makes later progress easier to audit while preventing target-state language from being mistaken for a current feature list.
