WWX: Global Supremacy

Closing the First Strategic Decision Loop

Power selection, a timed initiative, rival opportunities, alerts, persistence, and replay turned the foundation into a small campaign.

On 9 August 2026, three consecutive implementation slices changed WWX from a certified foundation into a small strategic campaign.

The first slice let a player choose Atlas, Aegis, or Meridian, enter a deterministic six-subject world, and save or replay the resulting campaign. The second introduced Influence, Intelligence, Command, Strategic Commitment, and the first complete timed initiative, Begin Verification. A player could select a target, review a forecast, commit the action, advance time, and inspect the result.

The third slice added scheduled opportunities for the other two powers. Their decisions used a deliberately narrow legal observation and action boundary, and visible consequences appeared as alerts. That completed the first loop from player decision, through time and rival response, back to a new decision-ready situation.

The rivals were not presented as finished opponent intelligence, and the campaign still lacked long-form progression. The milestone's importance was structural: player and rival actions now travelled through the same deterministic campaign machinery, with persistence and replay across the full loop.
